Struggling with internet signal around the house or office? Plug in Wi-Fi extenders not working very well? Internet providers router not up to the task?

This is where a Mesh system can really help.

What is Mesh Wi-fi & how does it work?

A wireless mesh network consists of a node that connects directly to your modem and then a series of nodes or modules are placed around your house/office for full WiFi coverage. They all share the same SSID and password. The one wired node shares its internet connection with all the other nodes in its vicinity. The other nodes also share the connection with the nodes nearest to them boasting the signal.

What is the best WiFi system this year?

We have recently installed the TP-Link Deco M5 range in a couple of our client’s homes. These have worked so well that our MD now has these around his house as well!

The TP-Link Deco M5 range is a whole home mesh WIFI system that is compatible with Amazon Echo/Alexa, Android & IOS devices.

The network the Deco’s create can connect to 100 devices, which means it’s a great option for small/medium offices & businesses.

For home users, the devices have an advanced parental control with features such as time limits, grouping devices into profile settings and you can even content filter with them.

The number of devices you need will depend on the square foot of the area you want to cover with the network. The typical pack size most choose is the 3-5-bedroom 3 device pack, which covers up to 5500 square foot (each unit individually covers up to 2000 square foot).

The network is easily setup in minutes. Download the TP-Link Deco app from the PlayStore or App Store, plug in your devices & follow the instructions given in the app.
